I have zero tolerance for douche bags.

Douche No. 1 was spotted at Zouk.

So after dinner with the rest,

Hanling and I were there to meet her friends and we were without a proper ID. I whipped out my uni bus-pass, which, on ALL other occasions had created no issues, was suddenly found unacceptable by this particular douche-bouncer last night. So Mr Douche shines his torch and stares at it for like a few long minutes, checkin out the resemblance, and I was really losing my patience there, plus it's like - Do I seem like a 17 yr old with a fake id? Come on.

Then he looks up n asked me to recite my IC number. (that's when he became a douche) So in between disbelief and anger, I recited.

D: "What? 7B? "

ME: "NO. E!" ( I screamED)

Then ordeal continues. (even after i recited my ic no)

D: "No other cards?"

I Shake my head.

D: "No creditcards?"

ME: "I didnt bring."

D: Open your bag.

ME: blood rushing, veins popping, opened my bag in his face

D: "No other cards?"

ME: YA I ONLY HAVE MY ATM CARD. YOU WANNA SEE?

D: "I cant let you in. No proper ID"

Needless to say, Hanling didnt even stand a chance without an ID nor a Bus-pass on her.

To me, it isnt a biggie, not getting into that club, but rather, how ridiculous mr douchebouncer was. So ok, maybe i didnt recite my ic number in one breathe? yea.. that must be it. OR maybe I didnt flesh my cleavage at him? Or.. maybe i didnt have any creditcards in my wallet? And yea, of course, I must have totally borrowed my third cousin's bus-pass. TOTALLY.

Douche No.2 is an arrogant, impudent student event-programmer from a particular university here. Yes, the Ark might not be a big name among local music schools but i think that when you invite someone to perform for your event, it should be in your responsibility to try to accommodate each performer's schedule and not Reprimand them when they asked for a possible change of timing -- especially when they are doing it for free.

Well. but with every two douche bags, comes two nice souls.

I finallyyyy caught SATC with the girls.. after Joy & Clare were finallyyy back. phew! thank goodness it was still showing.

a tad draggy, but the romance, great-looking clothes and the fab 4 more than made up for it.

My SATC girls -- (ok , every 4 great girlfriends probably sees themselves as a SATC bunch .. minus the clothes and Manolo Blahnik shoes) . well anyway. i love my girls!

i think i havent seen Clare for like 2 whole months! The Clare who has probably already conquered half the planet with her frequent travels. and the Ying who has gotten chocolates from all over the world, except that she hasnt been to those places herself.

On a sidenote, i was in SATC booties heaven, (check out her shoes).. lots & lots of booties. My fav! (if you dont know what is a bootie) THERE. a killer white one for you. (drools)

and more.

i need to get my hands (or feet) on those.

Beautiful krabi.. with my 3 good friends -- Xuan, fabian and tanen. Was a short holiday but nonetheless fun. Only peeve was having to bathe with salty water. 0_0

Tanen in mid air after his plunge off the 5m high cliff. the rest did it too. And.. of course i didnt haha- heights really aint my forte.

Elephant ride which was very bumpy and n not at all enjoyable cos i couldnt help but feel for the poor animal who was at the mercy of his trainer. I realised the poor elephant teared! when i petted him after the ride.
